Rose in Vale Country House Hotel is reducing its impact on this beautiful landscape we exist
in by committing to our Environmental Policy and Green Initiatives.

Green initiatives:

We use Bio Mass boilers to heat the water for the entire hotel
Solar panels heat the swimming pool and the water for the old stable block rooms
We treat our own waste water
Have changed to LED lighting where possible
Automated many lights within the hotel front and back of house
Awarded the Green Cleaning Badge of Approval as we have replaced over 80% of chemical cleaning products
Use refillable complimentary toiletries
Eliminated the use of single use water bottles
Is a member of the Clean Cornwall Turn on the Tap Scheme discouraging the purchase of single use plastic bottles.

We will replace your towels and linen after a fourth night, unless otherwise requested
We will remind you to switch off all lights and the television when departing your room
We ask that you always recycle where the use of single use plastic is unavoidable
