Open to all and located on the outskirts of Truro near St Agnes our 2AA Rosette Awarded restaurant awaits you. Come and indulge in delicious fare created by our Cornish head chef Tom Bennetts and his team using the best locally sourced Cornish ingredients.

Come and experience our wonderful Afternoon Tea at The Rose in Vale. Freshly made to order and using the finest Cornish ingredients our high teas are worthy of our incredible setting.

Chef’s Table

For a unique experience why not book 'the table in the kitchen’ with our head chef Tom Bennetts and his team. Soak up the atmosphere behind the scenes whilst watching them create your dishes. Tom will even serve you and answer all your burning questions!
Tuesdays to Saturdays. Maximum of 4 people. Subject to availability, please enquire.

Private Dining

You can book our Georgian Drawing Room for a very special private dining experience. Up to a maximum of 12 people can enjoy dinner in this beautiful, traditional 18th Century room where Captain Oates ate with his family and guests.

At our restaurant all our food is freshly prepared daily and we can therefore cater to special dietary requirements. For coeliac, gluten free and dairy intolerance to any other dietary needs please don’t hesitate to let us know and our chefs would be most happy to cater for you.
